Pistons Tickets Hit Their March Peak For Date in Golden State

Although the Detroit Pistons are 13 games under .500, are 4-6 in their last 10 games and are on a three-game losing streak, believe it or not they are still alive in the Eastern Conference playoff picture.

Currently, the Miami Heat and the Brooklyn Nets hold the seventh and eighth seeds with 33 losses. Detroit is 23-36 with 23 games left on the schedule as of Tuesday, March 3rd. A win streak of any kind in the East can go a long way in the standings.

The Pistons are trying to jell on the fly with newly acquired Reggie Jackson. Jackson was sent from the Oklahoma City Thunder prior to the NBA trade deadline. In four games with the Pistons, Jackson averages 16 points, 5.3 rebounds and 6.5 assists per game. He is transitioning from coming off the bench for the Thunder to being the star guard on Detroit. After their loss to the Washington Wizards on February 28th, the Pistons have three days off before playing again so hopefully Jackson can get more familiarized with the offense.

The Palace of Auburn Hills will be filled with a renewed energy if the Pistons get within striking distance of a playoff position. According to Razorgator.com, the games shown below are a few of the most expensive and least expensive Detroit Pistons tickets for their games in March.

Most Expensive: 3/11/2015 | Golden State Warriors vs. Detroit Pistons | Avg: $218.23 | Get-in: $25

The Pistons try to get a win against one of the best teams in basketball on March 11th at Oracle Arena against the Golden State Warriors. The Warrior have alternated with the Atlanta Hawks for the best record in the NBA throughout the season, and it’ll be tough for Detroit to fly to the West Coast and grab a road win. The Warriors have one of the best home records in the NBA and Stephen Curry is leading the way in the league MVP race. With a get-in price of $25 for Golden State Warriors tickets, is a great deal to watch some of the league’s best talent.

Most Expensive Home Game: 3/21/2015 | Detroit Pistons vs. Chicago Bulls | Avg: $95.52 | Get-in: $11

The Palace of Auburn Hills is hosting a water bottle giveaway when the Chicago Bulls come into Detroit on March 21st. This game may be lacking some of the expected star power, as Derrick Rose and Jimmy Butler of the Bulls both have been ruled out for multiple weeks from recent injuries. Although that isn’t terrible news for the Pistons, who may catch a struggling Bulls team during a point of the season where they need to win as many games as possible before time runs out on the season. Pistons vs. Bulls tickets on Razorgator are going for some high prices in this Midwest rivalry.

Least Expensive: 3/4/2015 | New Orleans Pelicans vs. Detroit Pistons | Avg: $19 | Get-in: $2

It would be great to see Anthony Davis go against the big men on Detroit, Andre Drummond and Greg Monroe, but Davis has missed multiple games from a shoulder injury. The Pelicans are also fighting for one of the final playoff seeds in the West, so with or without Davis, it’s not a game where they can take the night off.

Least Expensive Home Game: 3/8/2015 | Detroit Pistons vs. Charlotte Hornets | Avg: $49 | Get-in: $7

The Pistons are having a watch giveaway when the Charlotte Hornets come to The Palace. The Hornets are in the mix for one of the final playoff seeds in the East and would be a team the Pistons have to jump to get to where they want to be. This game should have a playoff atmosphere as whoever loses gets a bad start towards their final push for the playoffs.

The Pistons meet a few teams that are having injury concerns and in the East, anything is possible if a team makes a small run. Why not the Pistons in the month of March?
